Dear Authors,
Teays Valley West Middle School invites you to be part of our annual Creative Chaos Writing Competition — a celebration of young writers and their creativity.
We’re excited to continue our Author Showcase, where published authors can:
✍️ Connect with student writers and share their experiences
📚 Promote and sell their books (no vendor fee)
💬 Inspire the next generation of authors
While we’re unable to offer a stipend, authors are encouraged to bring books to sell and promotional materials to share information with attenders.

Location: Teays Valley West Middle School, 200 Grove Run Road, Commercial Point, OH 43116

Author Arrival / Check-In: Approx. 11:00AM
|
|
Showcase Start: Immediately Following Keynote and Awards Ceremony (Approx. 1:00PM)
|
|
What to Expect
- Check-In & Setup: Pick up your badge and table assignment; staff will help you get settled.
- Author Tables: A designated space to display your work, meet attendees, sell your work, and sign pieces.
- Program Flow: Opening remarks, community meet-and-greet, closing acknowledgments.
- Media Notice: Photos/video may be taken to promote student and community achievement.

What to Bring
- Printed copies of your work (for display, sale, and signing)
- A short author bio (table tent or small frame works well)
- Optional promo items (business cards, bookmarks, flyers)
