What is open class?
Open Class is the division for anyone age 11 and up who is not affiliated with a school and still wants to compete. This includes both youth and adults—whether you are homeschooled, graduated, an independent writer, or simply passionate about writing and looking for a challenge. Open Class provides an opportunity for any individual writer to showcase their voice and compete alongside others outside of a school-based team.
